Upgrading from Fluency 2013 to Fluency Now & Backup

  • Visit the Store by clicking the link and select a subscription plan.

Fluency Store

After downloading the installer (see option above), run the program to install Fluency Now.

After installation, use the login and password you were e-mailed to sign in to your account by going to Help > Sign into Fluency Now.

  • Step 1. Open Fluency 2013 (or Fluency 2011)
  • Step 2. Go to Tools > Synchronization Wizard
  • Step 3. Export or backup your TMs and Terms to a .sync file
  • Step 4. Open Fluency Now or Fluency Now (2024)
  • Step 5. Go to Tools > Synchronization Wizard
  • Step 6. Import your TMs and Terms from the .sync created in step 3.
  • Step 1. Open Fluency Now
  • Step 2. Go to Help Menu
  • Step 3. Click "Sign in to Fluency Now.."
  • Step 4. Enter Login Details
  • Step 5. Click Sign In
  • *Fluency will keep you signed in until you Sign Out

No, Fluency Now is installed directly on your computer, so you don’t need an ongoing Internet connection to use it. An Internet connection is required the first time you install and license Fluency Now, but you can use it in offline mode with a valid subscription. Fluency Now will attempt to validate your subscription every 3 days. Month-to-month members can use the software for up to 3 days in offline mode.

Once the download is complete, run the program to install Fluency Backup.

After installation, use the one of the codes you were e-mailed to activate Backup.

Remember, you were emailed two codes for two computers.
